Our recent project at the iStore in Rushden Lakes involved repositioning key air conditioning units to optimize airflow and enhance the overall environment for customers and staff.

What We Did

The iStore required modifications to its existing air conditioning setup to improve air circulation and ensure the system was working as effectively as possible. Our team completed the following adjustments:

✔ Raising and Repositioning the Warm Air Door Curtain – The existing door curtain was moved higher up to enhance heat retention in winter and improve air distribution at the store entrance, creating a more comfortable entryway for customers.

✔ Relocating Two Indoor Ceiling Units – The existing Toshiba ceiling cassette units were originally positioned along the sides of the room. To improve efficiency and ensure more even cooling, we moved both units higher up and closer to the center of the space. This adjustment allowed for better air circulation and a more balanced temperature throughout the store.

The Result

By repositioning these air conditioning units, we significantly improved the store’s airflow and overall climate control. The changes not only enhanced energy efficiency but also created a more pleasant shopping experience by maintaining a consistent and comfortable temperature.
